Each Kappa Delta experience is unique, how will you build yours?

Updated: May 27, 2020

Hello to all of my invested readers! It appears it is my turn to captivate you with the power of words. My name is Libby Hetler and I am a sophomore studying Political Science and Communication…Liberal Arts REPRESENT, am I right? I love Purdue so very much. From going to all the basketball and football games (#BoilerUp), sitting with my Starbucks in the Union doing homework, or just walking around our beautiful campus with the sun shining down on me, I have found my home here at Purdue.

However, my Purdue experience would not be as wonderful as I make it to be without Kappa Delta. This sorority has brought me some of the greatest gal pals I could ever hope for. I have a wonderful home to live in on campus, filled with confident, inspiring, and totally crazy college women. It has provided me with opportunities that challenge me to be a better communicator and leader.

As Vice President-Operations, I help to create a master calendar with the many events we have planned throughout the year. I am a support system for other Council members and help us as a group stay focused throughout our term. Most importantly, I help support academic and career initiatives to support my sisters as they navigate college life in pursuit of their future career. I love that I have the chance to empower my sisters to be the best women that they can be as they go into the future.

Kappa Delta has definitely shaped me to be the woman that I am today. My sisters help me smile a little brighter, grow stronger in my leadership skills, and help me make the most out of my college experience.

Each Kappa Delta experience is unique, how will you build yours?
