Hi everyone!
I’m Sam Jensen, and I’m so excited you’re visiting our blog! Kappa Delta is a powerful and loving community, and I’m incredibly lucky to be on our exec board. I’m Theta Nu’s panhellenic delegate, which means I run communication between Purdue’s greek life organizations and Kappa Delta. It’s insanely fun to get one of the first looks into what other organizations are doing, and then plan with the rest of Kappa Delta council how we want to interact and improve our bonds as panhellenic women. I also get to work with monthly talks surrounding health and safety and other topics interesting women to improve our college experience.
Outside of Kappa Delta, I’m currently a freshman in Brain and Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis in pre-med. I never thought I would rush a sorority, but when I met one of my now best friends in my residence hall and she said I’d like it, I went with my gut and tried it out. It was a crazy process, but I wouldn’t change going through it for anything. Kappa Delta Theta Nu has given me a family I’d been craving since graduating dance and color guard back home, and every one of the girls in this house brings something amazing to this house that makes our experience our own version of perfect. If you’re on the fence about rushing, or don’t know what to look for exactly in a house, I highly encourage you to take the chance and rush panhellenic. Find your home and your family on campus, no matter which house you fall in love with.
Stop I love this so much
